Choosing the right floor finish is essential not only for looks and durability, but also for end-use cost savings as well.  The gallon price of a finish doesn't always give you a clear idea of how much you will be spending on your floor. For example: Introductory Priced Floor Finish: $20/gal. vs. Betco Best LM Floor Finish: $39/gal   While the cheaper floor finish appears to be half price, you have to consider your labor costs involved with applying this product.  The cheaper finish contains 18% solids while Betco Best LM contains over 40% solids in the finish.  This will allow you to have a great buildup with less coats and have a floor that can really withstand abuse.  What this all means is that with Betco Best LM 2-3 coats is equal to 4-6 coats of the cheaper floor finish. You will save money in labor costs and you will end up using less product in the long run and achieve a great looking, long lasting floor like the one shown to the right.
